Abstract
Recording meter reporting is very important because it can help PLN know how many West Sumatran people get electricity.The study was madewith the aim to test the analysis of the factors affecting meter recordingin West Sumatra. In this study, all of the sampling was recorded in the PLN datausing, where each element comes inthe population does not have an equal chance of being selected as a sample representing the population. The data analysis technique used in this studyis descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression. Based onthe results of the binary logistic regression test that has been done, this shows that the factors of area, power and power limits are very influential and supportive for recording meter reporting
